As a member of the Warehouse and Logistics team you will be responsible for organizing the shipping of customers orders for UK and overseas in accordance with customers instructions. As a member of the Warehouse and Logistics team, you will play a vital role in coordinating the shipment of customer orders within the UK and abroad, ensuring compliance with the customers' specific instructions.

**Success in this role looks like**:

- Able to build strong relations with internal and external customers and suppliers.
- Ensure all shipments are carried out in line with customer instructions and local legislation.
- Develop strong skills in SAP and GE internal tools.

**Your** role**:

- Organizing shipment from supplier’s premises to Rugby warehouse and so from Rugby warehouse to final customer plant in several countries (UK, China, Nordics, South Africa and other).
- Ensuring that correct documentation is raised to achieve payment without delay.
- Preparing and raising of companies’ sales invoices in the style and currency to achieve Customs clearance and payment.
- Reading Customers orders to determine required method of packing, despatch, terms of payment, delivery address, case markings, documentary & delivery requirements and distributing documents accordingly.
- Checking Worklist daily for items, quantity, and order status.
- Creating picking lists and shipping documents from SAP System and where necessary edit to suit customer requirements.
- Raising export sales and freight and insurance invoices.
- Raising Company Freight Insurance invoices on SAP (Billing).
- Create and amend Billing documents. Distributing documents accordingly.
- Arranging Insurance cover where appropriate.
- Support tendering department by obtaining transport quotation.
- Answering customer queries either directly or by reference to Sales & Services/Contracts.

**Basic Qualifications**
- Educational GCSE or equivalent with English and Maths.
- Experience of at least 2 years within logistics and customs.
- Knowledge of forwarding systems and shipping procedures.
- Detailed knowledge of customs regulations, export documentation and import regulations of overseas countries.
- Computer literacy in SAP procedures and MS office suite.

**Desired Qualifications**
- Knowledge of Imports of repairs under IPR, or purchased goods, maintains records & schedules for goods under Customs Control Handling Imports of repairs under IPR, or purchased goods, maintains records & schedules for goods under Customs Control.
- Previous SAP experience.
- Capacity to manage and perform effectively when faced with a high volume of tasks and responsibilities.
- Effective and professional communication skills over the telephone.
