Planning Policy Officer/senior

**Working Hours** - 37 hours per week (Part time hours considered)
As Colchester continues to plan for and deliver almost 1000 homes a year and with similarly ambitious targets for jobs growth and new infrastructure it is an exciting time to work for the Borough Council within the Planning Policy Team.
This role could suit a qualified planner or related professional with experience, or a more recent graduate looking to start their career, with the level of appointment corresponding to experience. Either way you will contribute to the varied work of the Planning Policy team following the Local Plan Adoption.
Previous experience of working in Planning Policy or Development Management and Membership of the RTPI or other professional body, whilst not essential, will be an advantage and will reflect the position of appointment Grade.
