**What’s in it for you?**

- Shift premium of £1.25 for hours worked between 1200 and 2000, and £1.65 for hours worked between 2200 and 0600.

**Working Hours**:
Standard QC shifts will rotate between:

- 06:00 - 14:00 Week 1
- 12:00 - 20:00 Week 2
- When covering the weighbridge, the other QC operator will adjust their shift to **09:00 - 17:00** to maintain coverage.

**Purpose of the role**:
As a Feed Mill Weighbridge Quality Control Operative and Weighbridge ASH (Absence Sickness Holiday) Cover Operative within the operational team, based at out site in Allensmore, you will be responsible for carrying out Quality control checks of incoming Raw Materials ensuring standards are met in accordance with nutritional specifications. Working as part of a small team you will carrying out a number of different tasks, in addition there is a requirement to provide absence cover for the weighbridge operators when they take holidays or incur sickness, this involves the operation of the weighbridge process to receive incoming raw material and to dispatch outgoing finished feed vehicles.

**Your key responsibilities will include**:
- Carry out Quality checks of inbound Raw Materials to ensure they are in compliance with QC/feed specifications and legal requirements.
- Completion of documentation, operation of QC equipment and associated computer systems.
- Assistance to the weighbridge operator during peak traffic situations._ _
- Unloading and receipting of bagged raw material deliveries, stock rotation._ _
- General housekeeping and upkeep of storage areas to maintain hygiene standards.
- Fork truck and Front Loader operation (training supplied).

**What we are looking for**:
- Ability to work unsupervised and prioritise tasks efficiently.
- Quality Control knowledge and experience (Desirable).
- Raw Material knowledge and experience (Desirable).
- Weighbridge knowledge and experience (Desirable).
- Fork-Lift and front loader licence (Desirable).
- Computer skills.
