We are looking for a professional people juggler, someone who can plan multiple outlets for staffing, hence the need to be a good juggler. We are currently recruiting a Scheduling Administrator. You will be working within the scheduling team at our new home in Alton Towers. You will be dealing with people across various shifts, who work varying hours, and your output will be perfectly manned Food & Beverage outlets across the Resort.
**The ingredients for success**
You will ideally come from a background where you have worked within complex environments like this before, perhaps a fast-food outlet, production facility or even a logistics background. In short, we need to make sure you get the right number of people in the right area at the right time This is a tremendous role which is going to give you valuable experience within the hospitality industry.
**Pay and benefits and hours**
You will be working up to 40 hours per week on a permanent variable contract, with annual salary of £22,500 on any 5 from 7 shift pattern. Not only that, but you will also be joining a great team, with fabulous career prospects - we **LOVE **to promote from within

**Your main responsibilities will include**
- You will be working as part of the scheduling team, planning man hours across our food units within the park and in the hotel environment.
- You will be able to schedule the Resort Food and Beverage units in a timely manner whilst ensuring deadlines are met.
- Some of your shifts will include manning the departments absence line, logging absences and engaging with management regarding these absences.
- You will liaise with managers regarding shift swaps, while encouraging employees to use our scheduling system.
- You will ensure all holiday requests, changes of availability and general administrative tasks for employees are answered and logged accordingly.
- You will be able to communicate with managers regarding schedules and employee queries, ensuring these are dealt with effectively and efficiently.
- You will work to booking trends and flex workforces when days get busier.
**Qualifications and experience needed**
Essential
- You will be a whiz with a spreadsheet
- Excellent communication skills. This is key to ensure all colleagues are kept up to date with any changes - lots of people are relying on you to fulfil their expectations
- Ability to prioritise effectively and meet tight deadlines for the department's needs
- You will be able to remain calm under pressure and complete tasks in a timely manner
- To be adaptable and flexible to business needs when required
- To always be approachable, with a positive attitude
Desirable
- Knowledge of the scheduling system, Kronos
- Understanding of a fast-paced theme park environment
