**Position**: Medical Counter Assistant
**Location**: 6 Chester Court, Albany Street, London, NW1 4BU
**Hours**: Full Time - 44.5 hours
**Salary**: £12.50 - £13.50ph

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide excellent customer service and expert advice on over-the-counter medicines and products.
- Support customers with healthcare advice, including minor ailments, and offer appropriate solutions where possible.
- Handle cash and process transactions accurately.
- Maintain a clean and organised pharmacy environment, including the display of products.
- Assist with stock control, including ordering and restocking of medicines and other pharmacy products.
- Work alongside pharmacists and other pharmacy staff to deliver top-quality care.
- Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations and health and safety standards.
- Promote the pharmacy’s services, such as flu vaccinations and health checks.

**Essential Skills & Qualifications**:

- A positive and friendly attitude with a passion for healthcare and helping people.
- Previous experience in a pharmacy or healthcare-related role (desirable but not essential).
- A good level of literacy and numeracy.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
- Excellent computer literacy (you MUST be technology friendly)
- Ability to work under pressure
- Strong communication and customer service skills, with experience in counter sales.
- Familiarity with online pharmacy processes is an advantage.
- Willingness to travel to Harley Street as required.
- A caring and professional attitude towards customers and colleagues.
- Flexibility and a willingness to learn and develop new skills.

Schedule - Monday - Friday (10am-6pm), Saturday (9:30am-2pm)

- London NW1 4BU: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Education**:

- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Pharmacy: 1 year (preferred)

**Language**:

- English to a high level (preferred)
