Making A Difference as A Mobile Cook in School Traded Services.
St Helens Council are looking to recruit an experienced Mobile Cook within the Cleaning, Caretaking, School Crossing Patrol and Catering Service.
The hours of duty would be 30 per week. These hours are normally worked Monday to Friday between the hours of 8.00am and 3.00pm. Hours are worked flexibly to meet the needs of the service
Your role will be to provide Catering services to cover for absences and to provide additional capacity in schools on an ad-hoc basis. Duties include running large and small catering establishments within schools across the borough of St Helens.
Staff appointment will not be site specific. You will be asked to work at any school or council establishment across the borough of St Helens. We aim to provide you with reasonable notice of the days and times of the work available. However due to the nature of the service requirements, there will be occasions when you will be contacted at short notice.
The successful applicant must have NVQ Level 2 Food Preparation and Cooking or equivalent and hold a Food Hygiene certificate.
Full driving licence and use of a vehicle is required for this post.
