Data Analytics & Digital Acceleration is a newly formed team that will lead the transformation of Consumer Health towards a data and digital first culture with the deployment of rapid, high value end-to-end (E2E) data products and solutions. This team will be responsible for targeted E2E Data and Digital outcomes that require a cross-functional focus to unlock our growth strategy leveraging Data Science/AI and Intelligent Automation. The team is business-led, technology enabled and will have responsibility to enable achievement of the J&J Consumer Health 3-year strategic growth objectives viz. Net Trade Sales Acceleration, Gross Profit Optimization, and Free Cash flow optimization. One of the key focus areas for this team will be to address foundational data improvement in partnership with functions & regions, build Data 360 products, and set standards & policies across the enterprise. We are recruiting for a Transparency & Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) Lead to join our Data Analytics and Digital Acceleration team and help us push forward our data and digital-first vision This position may be based in the UK, or Skillman, NJ or New Brunswick, NJ and open to consideration of talent at any major J&J Consumer Health Office location globally.
As a key member in the Data Analytics and Digital Acceleration Team, this role will be uniquely positioned to work collaboratively with strategic external partners and data management leaders across the business and technology to passionately understand our data needs, define and operationalize our global data strategy approach and roadmap, and drive data excellence across regions and enable outcomes that matter in our local markets.
As a strategic problem solver, technologist, and an expert in transparency and ESG, this role will empower our technology and business partners through the delivery of high-quality data that will be foundational in achieving our digital-first ambitions.
**Responsibilities**
Will lead the data transparency efforts surrounding ESG within the Data Governance and Management team, performing key activities including the following:
- **Develop Transparency and ESG strategy**: Orchestrate and shape strategy and deployment of Digital Transparency and Sustainability initiatives for Consumer Healthcare
- **Execute ESG Reporting**: Manage execution of public facing ESG reporting and participation in ESG ratings, ranking and awards, including project management, data management, and stakeholder coordination and communication
- **Develop CSR Report**: Support development of the corporate social responsibility (CSR) report through annual data benchmarking, project management and data management, including stakeholder coordination and communication
- **Execute all CSR Deliverables**: Support in execution of discrete strategic and targeted CSR communications deliverables, such external presentations and talking points for CSR Leadership
- **Support all ESG-related disclosures**: Support with J&J Consumer Health’s public-facing ESG-related disclosures to ensure impact and consistency across various stakeholder groups, channels, and touchpoints
- **Stay abreast of ESG framework leading practices**: Conduct desk research on the developments in key ESG reporting frameworks, to support identification of the highest priority frameworks, ratings and rankings, and enhancement of disclosure approach and strategy accordingly
**Qualifications** Qualifications**:
- A minimum of a bachelor’s degree required with finance or sustainability experience preferred
- 6+ years of experience working with relevant ESG and sustainability reporting frameworks such as TCFD, SASB, GRI, and others
- Passionate about corporate responsibility topics
- Proficient in using MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Ability to conduct research, analyze information and draw conclusions
- The ability to lead without reporting authority and to achieve outcomes in a complex environment - leading through influence and deep collaboration across the enterprise
- The ability to manage ambiguity and shape new initiatives/business from scratch
- Strategic thinking and big picture orientation /business acumen with strong interactions with key stakeholders
