Matheson Communications Limited is a telecommunications franchise and holds three Vodafone stores in York, Scarborough and Bridlington.

**What are we looking for?**

Working in a fast paced environment with new product launches, ever changing promotions and advances in technology we need someone with an eye for detail who is adaptable and can work under pressure.

A passion for people and sales is a must as you'll need the trust and buy in of your all important customers and be able to work as part of a sales team.

Working in a sales environment means a culture of support and coaching is key to deliver results and a desire to keep reaching for that next goal

You'll need:

- the ability to plan and prioritise workloads
- a strong passion for customer service
- the capacity to grasp new concepts quickly
- the ability to multi-task and work under pressure
- shrewd business sense and well-developed commercial awareness
- a desire to work as part of a team to generate fresh and innovative ideas.

**Responsibilities**

As a sales consultant you will be responsible for:

- making and increasing sales and ensuring efficiency
- following the sales process end to end to ensure consistency and compliance
- delivering world class customer service
- delivering on your sales targets and KPI's each month
- independent learning
- analysing your own sales figures
- maintain awareness of market trends in the retail industry, understanding forthcoming customer initiatives and monitoring what competitors are doing

**Experience**
- Experience of working in sales is a not required but preferred
- Retail experience is not necessary as we are not traditional retail and follow a structured sales process
- Experience of working in a regulated sales environment is preferred but not essential

**Working Hours**
- Our opening hours are Mon
- Sat 9am - 5.30pm and Sundays 10:00am-4:00pm
- Your shift patterns will be across 5 days per week working the store opening times above to fulfil your 30 hour contract
- Weekend working is crucial due to us being on the high street
- We are open on all bank holidays apart from Christmas Day, Easter Sunday and New Years Day
- As a sales consultant flexibility is required for overtime, covering illness etc

**Salary and Benefits**
- The pro rata salary for this role is £18,720 based on a 30 hour contract (£12 per hour, £17.56 OTE) per year with expected earnings between £18,720 - £28,720
- Uncapped commission is a big part of the package we offer so the world is your oyster in terms of how much you can earn

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £24,960.00-£34,960.00 per year

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
