Area to be covered: North East Coast

Ideal living location: Scarborough

Remuneration: £25,000 - £30,000 + £5,000 - £10,000 Bonus

The role of the Sales Surveyor - Damp Proofing will involve:

- Sales surveyor position selling and surveying for various damp proofing, dry rot treatment and waterproofing solutions for commercial and domestic properties
- Carrying out day to day site surveys and completing after survey reports
- Producing quotations to customers and following up to increase sales
- Developing relationships with new and existing clients
- Acting as technical liaison for technicalities of all products
- Will be expected to carry out 15 surveys per week
- Currently 60% of projects are commercial, 40% domestic, with the average value £2,500
- Directly reporting into the Area Branch Manager

The ideal applicant will be a Sales Surveyor - Damp Proofing with:

- Must have surveying or sales experience, ideally will be from the damp proofing industry, however this isn’t essential, would consider any industry
- Ideally will have CSRT / CSTDB & CSSW qualifications
- Ideally will be from a construction background with understanding of buildings
- Advantageous to have good knowledge of health & safety
- Good communication skills both written and verbally
- Excellent literacy and numeracy skills
- Must have a stable career
