**H & J Speake is a family owned manufacturer of Zinc & Aluminium Die Castings. Operating from a single site in Willenhall we service a number of the UK’s market leaders across various industries.**

We are looking for somebody to join our team as a Factory Operative.

**The position involves**:

- Operating Zinc high pressure die casting machines to produce parts for various industries. Training will be provided.
- Handling of molten Zinc & Aluminium (full PPE provided).
- Cleaning machines after production each day.
- Inspecting parts which are produced to ensure they are of good quality.
- Secondary operation work when required (drilling, tapping, pressing etc).
- Packing when required.
- Shrink wrapping of pallets.
- Other adhoc factory duties

**Requirements**:

- Previous die casting experience preferred but not essential.
- Previous experience working in a factory essential.
- Ability to work on own initiative
- Physically fit
- Good spoken English

Hours are 6.00am - 5.30pm Monday to Thursday and 6.00am - 4.30pm Friday. No Shift work. No Weekend work.

**In return we offer a position in a friendly, down to earth environment within a small team and a competitive rate of pay (£32,123.52 annually rising to £34,285.68 annually come April 2025)**
