**Overview**

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled CNC Machine Operator & General Operator to join our production team. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who has experience in a manufacturing environment and is capable of working with CNC machines, as well as supporting general operations across the facility. Flexibility, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving are key to success in this position.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Operate CNC machines safely and efficiently in accordance with standard operating procedures.
- Load and unload parts and materials into the CNC machinery.
- Monitor machining operations and make necessary adjustments to maintain quality and accuracy.
- Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance.
- Carry out quality control checks using measuring equipment such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and work instructions.

General Operator Duties
- Assist in various production processes as required, including assembly, packing, and quality checking.
- Ensure work areas are clean and safe, following 5S and HSE standards.
- Support logistics and warehouse tasks, including loading/unloading deliveries and inventory handling.

Delivery and Forklift Operation (Desirable)
- Make local deliveries as required, using company vehicles (valid UK driving licence required).
- Assist in transporting goods within the facility using forklifts or pallet trucks.
- Maintain accurate delivery and movement logs.

**Essential Criteria**
- Proven experience operating CNC machines in a manufacturing environment.
- Basic mechanical understanding and good practical skills.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Ability to work from technical drawings and follow detailed instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Physically fit and capable of manual handling.

**Desirable Criteria**
- Forklift truck licence and relevant operating experience.
- Experience in local delivery driving and customer interaction.
- Knowledge of health and safety standards in a workshop or factory setting.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £13.00-£15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 - 45 per week
