Dynex Semiconductor Ltd have been manufacturing semiconductor products for over 60 years to customers across the world. We are looking for a* Trainee Sales Representative *to join our existing Sales and Marketing team.

**THE ROLE**
Reporting to the International Sales Group Leader, the role will involve support for the field sales team as well as additional technical support to the customer service team. You will also be the main point of contact for incoming enquiries and concerns for new and existing customers.
Duties include;
- Directly contributing to the increased pre-sales effectiveness of field sales team(s) by directing power assembly enquiries appropriately after sourcing full enquiry information.
- Contributing to achievement of yearly sales target
- Creating, developing, and maintaining effective customer relations.
- Ensuring that customer needs are met and that any pre-sales queries or questions are responded to within 48 hours of receipt.
- Providing pricing support to field sales team for existing customers and recurring business
- Assisting in the preparation & updating of distributor price lists.
- Conducting activities associated with receipt of sales orders from customers, ensuring that appropriate information databases are updated in line with sales demand and advising production planners of sales.
- Contributing to the identification and qualification of new business opportunities/customers.
- Attending and supporting events as and when required to promote Dynex Semiconductor products and brand.
- When required assist with onsite support for customer visits to Dynex ensuring qualities and attributes of the Company are clearly communicated and customer’s requirements are met.
- Ad Hoc requirements as requested by Customer Services Manager, the International Sales Group Manager and the company directors.

**ABOUT YOU**
To be considered for the role you require:

- Good Microsoft Office skills - Work, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook
- Knowledge of power electronics or a related area
- Level 4 engineering or relevant qualification
- Ability to demonstrate and evidence skills in attracting new business
- Exposure in an Engineering environment
- Previous experience of using innovative sales methods to attract new business is desirable
- Capability to work within a fast-paced environment with accuracy
- High attention to detail
- Accurate data entry and recording skills
- Ability to collate, manipulate and analyse data
