We are currently recruiting for a Night shift Warehouse General Operator to join our committed team at our Erith site (DA18 4AF). The salary for this role is £28,423 plus £1872 per annum night shift allowance based on the following shift Patterns: Monday
- Friday, 40 hours a week between 23:00 and 07:30 am.

Key responsibilities:

- Receiving, picking, putting away, replenishment and dispatch. Participating in general warehouse duties where manual handling would be involved in the process.
- Palletising and Re-palletising products, wrapping, labelling and counting via scanning gun
- Continuously look to improve processes and procedures to drive efficiency and improvement in business operation and customer service
- Ensure any concerns, issues or variances to instructions are immediately communicated to your line manager to allow appropriate action to be taken at the earliest opportunity
- Ensure all company procedures are adhered to, including absence, performance, standards of behaviour, taking due consideration of company values.
- Ensuring 5S standards are always maintained
- Ensure all health and safety procedures are adhered to, including PPE, escalating any concerns to your line manager at the earliest opportunity
- Ensure all equipment checks are carried out in accordance with procedure, raising any defects to the Line Manager

Key requirements:

- A good understanding of Maths and English
- Previous warehouse experience (including handling goods up to 20kg as well as two-person product handling
- Awareness of manual handling techniques
- Ability to withstand pressure and work to tight deadlines
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Attention to detail
- Able to take instructions
- Good level of communication, including a good understanding of both written and verbal English
