**Role: HR Advisor**

**Location: Welwyn Hertfordshire - onsite**

**Salary: £29,000 plus **benefits including heavily discounted hotel stays and food & beverage discounts**

My client is a family run, independent 4 AA Star Hotel set in the beautiful Hertfordshire countryside. With an established events background its focus has shifted into the leisure market. Across its multiple outlets it has successfully diversified to offer memorable stays and an array of dining spaces that combine the best of British produce with top-notch experiences from midweek afternoon teas, street-food Fridays, and Sunday roasts to round off your week.

Their business is growing rapidly, and this is an exciting time to join the HR Manager within the Talent and Culture function of the Hotel. You will help shape and grow the future of the HR function and make a real difference to their continuing growth moving forward.

**Duties and responsibilities include**:

- Support the effective management of the Talent & Culture function of the business
- Work alongside the HR Manager on projects around retention, training, and onboarding
- Coach and mentor managers on training and development initiatives and HR functions
- Manage all aspects of the recruitment cycle such as advertising roles, short-listing, contracts of employment, interviewing, job offers and onboarding via their ATS/HRIS
- Payroll support
- Working with the GM on new initiatives for the Hotel
- Advising and coaching managers on employee relations queries
- Implement schemes to reduce / minimize the turnover rate and grow the Talent and Culture function
- Successful applicants should have previous HR experience at assistant / advisory level preferably with experience in recruitment and dealing with employee relations issues
- Hospitality background desirable
- Strong stakeholder management
- Experience of working with a diverse range of employees
- Thrives working in a fast paced, adaptable workplace
- Experience of using an ATS, HRIS and good Microsoft office skills are essential
