**Job Title: Weekend Receptionist**

**Location - The Wellington Hospital, St Johns Wood, London**

**Permanent, Part time, 23 hours/ week (Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holidays, 07:00-19:00)**

**Salary - up to £17610.92 pro rata + Benefits (pension, health cover, flexible benefits and excellent career development)**

**About the Role**

We have an exciting opportunity for a Weekend Receptionist to join The Wellington Hospital. This role is vital in the delivery of a first-class reception and switchboard service.

**What you'll do**:

- Meeting and greeting patients and visitors
- Co-ordinate deliveries and couriers., and the logging of deliveries/post
- Control of car park out of hours
- To provide a pleasant and efficient telephone service for patients, doctors, visitors, staff and any other callers
- To direct in a pleasant manner all visitors, staff and doctors to the correct departments
- To operate the switchboard efficiently, providing a prompt and courteous service
- Monitor the hospital emergency response systems and take necessary actions

**What you'll need**:

- Previous Receptionist experience, ideally within healthcare or high-end hotels
- Knowledge of relevant hospital policies & procedures would be advantageous
- Good written and verbal communication skills with excellent customer care skills
- Knowledge of health & safety procedures
- Ability to multitask
- Calm in high stake and pressured situations while handling medical emergencies
