**Job Purpose**:To patrol all premises and to prevent/detect signs of intrusion, ensuring security of doors, windows, and gates.

**Main Responsibilities**:
1) Supporting colleagues in any required ad-hoc duties necessary for successful running of the park.

2) Answer alarms and investigate all disturbances

3) Providing a calm, efficient, courteous, and flexible customer service

4) Monitoring, patrolling and guarding against potential security breaches

5) Circulating amongst visitors, patrons, and employees, to protect property and preserve order

**Planning & Organising**:
1) Follow weekly work schedule as set out by supervisor/manager.

2) Write and feedback reports of nightly activities and irregularities.

3) Monitoring and dealing with all equipment/property damage

**Decision Making**:
1) Prioritising own workload

2) Warning staff/customers of potential rule infractions or violations, evicting perpetrators as and when necessary.

3) Deciding when appropriate to call emergency services when/where necessary.

**Key Contacts/Relationships**:
1) Managers/Supervisor - Ensuring attention to detail, and acting upon requests promptly and efficiently.

2) Security Team - Where applicable, ensuring good communication, to provide the most comprehensive cover possible.

3) Customers/Staff - Dealing with all disturbances/requests in a polite, calm, and professional manner.

**Knowledge, Skills, and Expertise Required**:
1) Practical experience of working in a security team (desired)

2) A commitment to customer service

3) A good working knowledge of public safety law/procedures

4) Excellent communication skills

5) A flexible approach

6) An ability to work/remain calm under pressure

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temp to perm
Contract length: 6 months

**Salary**: From £11.00 per hour
