Residential Support Worker (Childrens), FT, Sandwell, NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY, Driving License Needed Your new company Our client is one of the largest providers of specialist education and behavioural health services for children in the UK. Their serviceshave a specific focus on individuals who present with high severity needs. Our clients specialist residential care homes support children with social, emotional and mental health needs (SEMH) and associated complex needs. We provide care, therapy and educationfor a discrete cohort of needs within these homes; this includes provisions for children who have experienced complex trauma (neglect and abuse), those who have been sexually exploited, and those with a learning disability. These homes are all supported byspecialists schools to support their individual educational needs. Your new role To provide advice, assistance and support to young people, safeguarding their welfare at all times. To attend to their practical, physical and emotional needs. To act as an appropriaterole model and to work closely with them to enable them to address their difficulties and achieve their optimum potential. What you'll need to succeed This is a fantastic opportunity to gain a 'foot-in-the-door' in Social Care within the childrens sector.NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY All we ask is you have the desire and enthusiasm to work with children on an ongoing basis providing support. A full UK driving license is necessary for this role.
