**Senior Licensing Enforcement Officer**

A vacancy has arisen in the Licensing Team for a Senior Licensing Enforcement Officer. As the lead officer for all work associated with the Licensing Act, the Gambling Act, the Scrap Metal Dealers Act, and pavement licensing, you will undertake visits, investigate, and respond to complaints and take enforcement action under relevant licensing legislation. You will also investigate complaints in relation to both licensed and unlicensed premises.

You must have experience and be up to date and competent in relation to the Licensing Act and the Gambling Act.

You must have a current valid driving licence with access to a car to travel around the Borough.

The post holder must:

- ability to work with accuracy, to statutory deadlines, in a customer focused environment,
- have excellent communication and IT skills, and have a willingness to offer the best customer service,
- be a team player as well as the ability to work using your own initiative.

The role may require you to work outside of core hours (i.e., evenings and weekends) when necessary.
