On the other hand, we have learned to reimagine where and when we work and to unlock that flexibility and innovation for our colleagues offering them the opportunity to work flex across their home, Sage offices or customer sites. - The Practice Engagement Specialist reports directly into the Practice Engagement Manager within Inside Sales Accounts Division. The purpose of this role is to create and nurture new and existing customer relationships, to book practice efficiency reviews for the Field and Internal sales teams and to maximise inbound leads from Marketing / Web campaigns or direct contact. The Specialist is a revenue generating role and will establish qualified opportunities for both new and existing business for the Inside and Field teams. This role will engage to the point of having the initial discovery call with the practice, whilst working alongside Practice Success Managers to support with activities that will help drive more contact with the bases and to drive revenue growth. As a career step and development path, this role can lead into the Practice Success Manager or Loyalty Specialist positions, so it is important that consultative conversations happen, and a customer first approach is applied on all interactions with the Accountancy base. **Key Responsibilities** - Communicate effectively with prospects/customers of all levels (incl. C Level) based on engagement with marketing campaigns or topical content to understand their current challenges and future goals to recommend a suitable solution or service with Sage. - Resilience-Stays focused and maintains a positive attitude and forward-thinking approach. - Drives results - Pursues everything with energy, drive, and the need to finish. Always keeps the end in sight; puts in extra effort to ensure targets and deadlines are met. - Action Orientated - Quickly and decisively acts in fast changing, unpredictable situations. - Shows a tremendous amount of initiative in tough situations; is exceptional at spotting and seizing opportunities. - Blended approach - Inbound and outbound calls to generate new lead opportunities including supporting existing Customers and passing leads onto the relevant PSM - Identify target data / accounts / leads and gather information as directed by the company - Setting up meetings with prospects and providing them with relevant information about Sage’s products / services - Able to hold qualification calls to easily identify suitable services or solutions for businesses of all sizes - Targets achieved for New Customer Acquisition and increased base penetration, amongst other KPI’s. - Excellent probing and listening skills, to uncover the prospect’s "pain" - Target oriented and high performance mindset - Able to work off own initiative and hit the ground running - Organized, methodical and able to simultaneously work on multiple tasks - Ability to work towards targets and goals - Telesales / Telemarketing experience - Analytical capability to work with various data sets - High degree of accuracy and self-direction - Active listening and negotiating skills necessary LI-MS2
