At the old post office cafe, we are proud champions of all things local and promote food sustainability. We strive to source as much produce as possible from within a 5-mile radius, supporting local businesses and reducing our carbon footprint. Our focus is on creating flavours that are bold and eclectic while allowing the ingredients to speak for themselves.

We are currently seeking a cook who shares our ethos and is committed to creating sustainable dishes.

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes using locally sourced ingredients
- Create simple, flavourful, and visually appealing dishes following our spec
- Ensure food quality and consistently meet our expectations
- Engage with customers, providing excellent service, and sharing information about our sustainable practices
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills and maintain a friendly and welcoming demeanour

If you have a passion for sustainability and flavor, we would love to hear from you. We are a brunch cafe, offering split shifts with day hours ranging from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, totalling 28-40 hours per week.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: £9.31-£12.72 per hour

Expected hours: 28 - 40 per week
