**Salary Grade: Scale 3 SCP 5 to 6 - £25,583 to £25,989**

**Tyne and Wear Learning Trust and the Headteacher of Whitburn Village Primary are seeking an enthusiastic, motivated and flexible full time Caretaker to become part of our supportive, friendly and committed team.**

An experience of premises caretaking, preferably in a school or similar environment is essential. A trade would be very advantageous.

Key duties will include, but are not limited to:

- Opening and locking up of school
- Ensuring school is kept clean
- Porterage
- General Site Maintenance
- Security
- Health & Safety compliance
- Improvement work

This is an all-year-round position with annual leave encouraged to be taken in school holidays.

Visits to school can be arranged by appointment with the Headteacher, Mr C Mackley and are recommended. Please contact the school office to make an appointment.
