Team Leader required for a care package for a 10-year-old girl who has cerebral palsy, living in the Blackburn area.

Our client has complex care needs, and you need to ensure that the support team provides effective care that is based on empathy, respect and compassion. You will assist to review and amend her care plans and undertake risk assessments. You will be expected to supervise the support workers and train up new staff members in relation to complex skills, ensuring a high standard of competent care is being delivered.

You will be expected to develop a professional relationship with her parents and ensure that they have time to remain as parents rather than being a required part of her care.

You will be responsible for the day-to-day smooth running of the care provision which includes organising suitable rota’s, supervising new staff members, and ensuring that all medications and medical supplies are ordered in a timely fashion. The case manager will liaise and support you to successfully undertake your role. You will also liaise with the wider multidisciplinary team to ensure that our client maintains her health and progresses her independence within her given abilities.

Working hours: Negotiable, between 24-36 hours per week.

Our client seeks someone who is well organised and flexible.

Rates of pay: £17.00 per hour
