Are you highly organised, detail-oriented, and keen to play a vital role in supporting school governance? Thamesmead School, a thriving secondary school in Shepperton with over 1,000 pupils, is seeking a Governor Support Officer to join our team.

In this key role, you’ll be the main point of contact for our governing body, providing high-quality administrative support and ensuring we meet all statutory requirements. You’ll prepare agendas and minutes, organise meetings, liaise with staff, governors, and external stakeholders, and help keep our governance arrangements running smoothly.

We’re looking for someone who:

- Has strong administrative skills and excellent attention to detail
- Is confident working with a range of stakeholders
- Has good IT skills and experience of managing sensitive information
- Can work independently and as part of a team
- Is willing to attend meetings outside of normal office hours

Pay: £16,297.00-£17,371.00 per year
