**About the Role**

We are looking for a compassionate, empathetic and caring person to help support my mother in her home. My father also lives at the property, he is 80 years old and has a series of strokes that have had an impact on his mobility. My mother is 69 and has been recently diagnosed with Osteoporosis and the flare ups have seen her hospitalised. She now has to remain lying down for long periods of the day to manage the pain. We anticipate the hours needed will be during the week and can be flexible to work with your availability. The role will include: providing companionship, overseeing medication, preparing and cooking meals, helping with housework and any other ad hoc tasks that may arise.

PER WEEK - PRO RATA

Monday - Friday

Personal Assistant Job role for 2 hours per week

Please note - Overtime is available on an ad-hoc basis to cover annual leave / absence and additional needs as they arise, so flexibility is required of the successful applicant.

**Rate of Pay**

£10.90 per hour

**Tasks and Duties**
- Providing companionship
- Support and encourage independence where possible, and preserve my personal sense of well-being
- Support around the home with domestic tasks
- Support with social stimulation
- Support me with the recycling
- Any other reasonable tasks required

- A person local to the Newtown / North Powys area.

- Previous experience is desirable.

**Training**

All training required will be provided in house by ourselves and our existing teams of PA’s.

**About The Job**

Salary Frequency - Calendar Monthly - By BACS.

A DBS check will be required, this will be at no cost to yourself.
