**Technical Support Team Leader**

Modis are working in partnership with a leading organisation in Worcestershire to recruit an experienced Technical Support Team Leader with experience of leading level 1-3 Support Engineers working with on-premise technologies used include Microsoft, Citrix,SCCM and VMWare.

**The Role**

As a Technical Support Team Leader you will deliver an effective, high quality service to the organisation and all its customers. The main purpose of this role is to work flexibly within the Technical Support Team contributing to an efficient and effectiveICT Service.

**The Responsibilities**
- To provide a high level of technical support both to internal customers and to external customers.
- To continually innovate in order to ensure the department is offering the best level of service in terms of services and equipment. This includes working on the network, hardware and software in support of the delivery of all agreed ICT services**.**:

- To diagnose faults within technical systems and take appropriate action, escalate (as per appropriate level) ensuring proper recording, investigation and identification.
- To technically support the operation and control of the IT infrastructure required to deliver and support IT services and products.

**The Requirements**.
- Possess substantial knowledge in windows server environments including virtual environments.
- Be experienced in balancing workloads to meet the operational requirements of the business.
- Have experience in the resolution of complex incidents.
- Significant knowledge, acquired through hands-on experience, in a specialist technical support environment for both hardware and software
- Substantial experience working within physical and virtual teams.
- Complex issue triage, problem investigation and coordination to closure including major incidents.
- ITIL certification in IT Service Management, or similar.
