**HR Coordinator**

**Salary**: £36,032 per annum

**Hours**: 12 Month Fixed-Term Contract, Full time (37 hours per week)

Enhanced Annual Leave: 25 days per annum (plus bank holidays & Christmas shutdown)

Are you looking for an exciting and varied role where you will be working within an expanding and ambitious team to ensure high quality support is delivered to our staff and line managers? Where you will cover the full employee lifecycle, from advising managers on a vacancy, supporting new starters through onboarding, to engaging with staff on their day-to-day queries and handling payroll system input? Where you are supported in developing your experience and knowledge to further your career?

Do you have GCSEs (grades A to C/Level 4 and above) or equivalent level of experience? Do you have experience of working within a HR / payroll team, inputting system changes directly and reviewing output data?
- Scrutinise, check and challenge payroll instruction prior to inputting HR information data for monthly payroll, and deal with all enquiries arising from monthly payroll;
- Be the first point of contact for queries from staff and managers related to HR or payroll queries, providing a response to initial queries when BP not available, and know when to refer questions to other members of the team;
- Work alongside a HR Business Partner to provide managers and employees with reactive and pro-active HR advice/support;
- Administer and input data into the HR system for payroll, working to tight predetermined deadlines;
- Manage the councils’ recruitment lifecycle, from advertising roles to supporting the induction of new starters.
