Requirements:Social Work England qualification.Current Approved Mental Health Professional (AMHP) qualificationRegistration with Social Work England or other Professional registering body.This role will require an Enhanced DBS checkKnowledge of Care Actand SafeguardingNonStop Care is working with a Local Authority based in the Greater Manchester area that is looking for experienced Senior Social Worker to join the Integrated Community Mental Health Team. You should have experience of working in a communitybased mental health setting and have experience of acting in a leadership/supervisory role and in contributing to the oversight of team performance. You will contribute to the AMHP rota and also the BIA rota (if/when qualified).Responsible for:* Act as a leadpractitioner for social care, utilising advanced knowledge and skills working within the Mental Health Act and Mental Capacity Act frameworks within the integrated team.
- Provide leadership and professional supervision to social workers, support workers andsupport planners, with support from the Social Care and AMHP Manager and Head of Service.* Provide support with social care professional standards and social care policies and procedures to the health appointed Managers within integrated pathways teams inthe CMHT.* Undertake direct work with adults with mental health needs, their families and carers with eligible social care needs and/or open to CMHT.* Undertake complex care co-ordination, that requires advanced practice skills.* Act as a Safeguarding AdultsManager for safeguarding investigations* Promote a recovery based approach to supporting service users with mental health needs.For further information on the role, please send your CV in a Microsoft Word format to Jessel Samba on or give me a ring on.
