**Client Details**

Based in the busy City of London, my client is a Retail company which has grown rapidly in the last few years. My client is set for further significant expansion in the coming years.

**Description**

The temporary Management Accountant will be:

- Reporting to the Finance Director and collaborating with the Finance Manager

**Month End Reporting (70%)**:

- Preparation of management accounts, financial information for inclusion in the Board
- Production of consolidated management accounts (Global UK and Singapore)
- Reconciling revenue and costs of sales
- Maintain fixed asset register, prepayment, cost of sales and overhead accrual.
- Weekly review and analysis of the correct account coding in Trail Balance (Xero) ensuring that all financial transactions are properly recorded
- Collaborate with finance manager on aged balance sheet items and provide solutions

**Audit, Tax and Compliances (20%)**:

- Prepare quarterly VAT and GST submission
- Assist FD in liaison with local tax advisors on submission of EU and international tax returns
- Assist FD in year end statutory reporting and local compliance reporting
- A key driver for audit process and providing audit requests in timely manner

**Ad hoc responsibilities (10%)**

**Profile**

The chosen temporary Management Accountant should:

- Part Qualified or Qualified ACCA/ACA/CIMA or Accounting Degree equivalent
- A keen eye for accuracy and detail
- Intermediate or Advance Microsoft Excel knowledge
- Strong knowledge on accounting policies (revenue, cost of sales, overhead, tax)
- Experience of Xero Accounting software is desirable but not essential
- Experience of multicurrency (international) transactions
- Timely and highly organised
- Team player, problem solver
- Willing to learn and adapt, taking ownership of management accounts responsibilities

**Job Offer**
