Come and work with our established team of Speech Therapists and Speech Therapy assistants.

We provide a high quality service to the children and young people of Swindon including the provision of Speech and Language Therapy in schools, specialist settings for children with hearing impairment, Developmental Language Disorder and complex needs. We offer an outstanding stammering service, ASD service, dysphagia service including outreach into our local SCBU.

We have an Early Years Team and Clinics Team providing support to children at home, in their early year’s settings as well as in our clinics based at Saltway centre and in the community.

We have an excellent mentorship programme and access to CPD training. We take students from both Reading University and Marjon University on placement.

We are looking for motivated and enthusiastic, final year Speech and Language Therapy students who want to join an experienced and innovative team on graduation and excel in their career with the support of a clear, competency based, career progression pathway which will support you to achieve your Specialist Therapist role within 3 years of qualifying.

We can offer you a professional environment, with a wide variety of specialisms to develop you as a rounded practitioner and experienced mentors who will support your growth and development, towards your future role as a Specialist Therapist.

Swindon is well positioned for easy travel to London, Bath, Bristol, Oxford and Birmingham and is located between the beautiful areas of the Marlborough Downs and the Cotswolds. Swindon also has varied public gardens and extensive parks to explore, as well as a vibrant night life with many independent bars, cafes and restaurants in the Old Town area.

**Requirements**:
To be able to register with the HCPC as a Speech Therapist before the post commences.
Full driver’s licence and access to a car for use at work, is required.

Interviews will be virtual on Microsoft Teams by appointment to work around lectures/placements.
