**Great Bear** is a leading 3rd party UK logistics business providing nationwide dedicated and shared user warehousing and distribution solutions for international blue chip clients.

We operate in excess of 9 million sq. ft. of warehousing and operate a large modern commercial vehicle fleet, coupled with an extensive added value service offering.

We are look to recruiter a **Warehouse Allocator **to join us at our **Sherburn in Elmet** site.

**Job Description**:
**Shift**: 3 on 3 off (6am - 6pm)

**Warehouse Allocator Responsibilities**:

- Pre-allocate loads (full and unit picks)
- Input pre-advises for customer inbounds
- Ensure advanced pick position is maintained in line with shift plan.
- Run orders in line with instruction and scheduled dispatch times.
- Movement of staff across work areas to maintain correct flow of activities.
- Selecting Loading / Un-loading Bay based on current operational requirements.
- Updating the Electronic Schedule and Auto-store to maintain an accurate representation of activities taking place on site.
- Carryout stock shortage investigations on picks.
- Monitor replenishments
- Compile and send reports as required.
- Control equipment allocation within area RDT/MHE Registers
- Undertake system housekeeping relevant to role
- Attend work on a regular and timely basis.
- Achieve and maintain the required level of work rate.
- Being reasonably flexible in hours and duties
- Being able to work on own initiative and as part of a team
- Follow instructions from your FLM / Shift Manager.
- Maintain good communication with your FLM / Shift Manager. Confident to escalate issues in a timely manner.

**Qualifications**:

- Good working knowledge of Stock system and MS packages
- IT Literate including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook, Working knowledge of Key ESL Systems including DWMS, SAP
