Blackpool, United Kingdom Magic Club Full time

**Are you passionate about supporting young people to dream big, develop strong foundations and reach their fullest potential?**

Magic Club is a charity based in Claremont, Blackpool, working with young people aged 7-18. We help them gain new skills, build positive relationships, access brilliant opportunities, and most importantly, have loads of fun

We run youth club sessions five evenings a week during term time from our own venue, offering a wide mix of activities and projects. When school’s out, we do even more; daytime clubs, trips, projects and residentials.

But Magic Club is much more than a youth club. We also run the Duke of Edinburgh programme, Arts Award programmes, offer 1-to-1 support, volunteering and training opportunities, community projects, and we make sure there’s always really good food, too. We do whatever it takes to support young people in Claremont to thrive.

The role is varied: you’ll be helping plan and deliver activities as a worker-in-charge, building strong relationships with young people, and supporting our peer educators and young volunteers, all while keeping safeguarding at the heart of what you do. You’ll also get involved in office-based tasks such as planning, evaluation and monitoring, and will support some of our community development work across Claremont. Most importantly, you’ll bring your own skills and passions into the role, helping to shape opportunities that really make a difference in young people’s lives.

We’re looking for someone who is confident, approachable and a great communicator, especially with young people. You’ll be a team player who’s happy to get stuck in and make things happen. Experience of working with young people is essential, but this could be through either a voluntary or paid role.

**To apply, you’ll need**:

- At least one year’s experience working or volunteering with young people aged 7-18.
- Supervisory experience with staff and/or volunteers.
- Ideally, a Level 3 (or above) qualification in youth and community work.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: £21,622.00 per year

Expected hours: 30 per week

Work Location: In person
