- **Hours**:37 hours per week
- **Location**:Barrow in Furness
- **Contract**:Fixed term until March 31st 2025
- An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Westmorland and Furness Family Hub Team.
- We are looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual with great interpersonal skills to provide an excellent service to the families, young people and children of Barrow and to support our internal team.
- **About the role**
- The Family Hub, based at Barrow Main Library, aims to join up and enhance services delivered through existing partner organisations, ensuring that parents and carers of children between 0 - 19, or 25 with SEND can access the support they need, when they need it.
- The post holder will also provide a high level of administrative and organisational support to the integrated team of Family Hub workers.
- **Who we are looking for**
- The right candidiate will have excellent interpersonal skills and substantial experience of helping customers in a family support, social care, health, education or related setting. You will also have good written communication skills and a good knowledge of client confidentiality and GDPR legislation.
- You will also have experience of providing administrative support in a large and complex organisation and be able to demonstrate an ability for planning and organising as well as prioritising your own work.
