Medway Norse is part of Norse Group’s impressive portfolio of joint ventures, providing a range of services in partnership with Medway Council. We specialise in delivering a number of front line services to the public, including transport, waste management and facilities management.

We currently have an opportunity for a Passenger Assistant to join our transport team in Gillingham, Kent. This is a part-time, permanent position working 19 hours per week on a split shift, supporting our school transfers on a term time only basis.

In this role, you will work alongside the driver to transport members of the public to and from school, supporting the well being of the passengers during the journey. They may be a requirement to assist with loading and un-loading of passengers, and you will work with colleagues at all sites to ensure the safe transport of individuals.

We are happy to offer full support and training within the role, although if you have previous experience this would be beneficial.

It is important that you can demonstrate:

- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Comfortable working in a deadline driven environment
- Capable of delivering an excellent customer service
