**Management Accountant - Remote Working**

MRK Associates are very pleased to be working exclusively with a specialist services client, based near Borehamwood, Hertfordshire. Our client seeks a qualified accountant to join them as a Management Accountant on a temporary basis, working fully remotely.

This job would suit a qualified CIMA Management Accountant, working collaboratively with the Director of Corporate Services and Head of Finance & Infrastructure.

This business is a successful specialist services organisation delivering their expertise across multiple sites with different products for 40 years.

The successful individual will have at least 3 years relevant experience at Senior level of Financial Management & Budgetary Controls. They will have experience in designing, producing and setting up their own budget templates and managements accountingreporting. Extensive systems design and System Administrator experience is also essential.

Job responsibilities:

- Prepare the annual budget timetable
- Assist with the preparation of the annual budget and business plan
- Design budget setting processes and procedures
- Design budget modelling processes
- Perform financial modelling on new and existing contracts to obtain assurance on full cost recovery plus a mark up
- Provide training to managers on managing budgets effectively
- Produce monthly management accounts
- Undertake regular meetings with budget
- Lead business supporting to operational delivery to ensure managers deliver their work within the objectives and budgets allocated
- Support the internal and external audit process
- Support the production of statutory accounts and ad hoc reporting
- Lead the business support to all areas of the company
- Provide support to the Director of Corporate Services as and when required
- Undertake any other duties that may be deemed reasonable in pursuit of the business' needs
