**Doing Amazing Things Together** We’re all about possibilities. Are you?**
Are you a friendly and adaptable person? Do you enjoy day trips to the seaside, theme parks and discos? Is community important to you?
**Become a Support Worker.**
What matters to the people we support matters to us. It’s their life, their way.
Our Outreach support in the Sheffield area works with over 15 people living in their own homes. We need people like you to ensure they can live as independently as possible.
We are looking for flexible and open-minded people to join our team. If you are energetic and love trying new activities and are passionate about helping people to access their community, then we want to hear from you.
You could be empowering people to maintain or learn new skills needed to live their best life
For this role we need you to be a driver with access to your own vehicle, so you can get around Sheffield and make the most of the time you are spending with the people you support.
You should be available to work shifts across the week and alternate weekends, including some waking night and sleep-in shifts as needed.
So, if you enjoy building meaningful relationships and think you could plan, communicate and deliver support _with_ and _alongside_ people, then this is the place for you.
**Gender is considered to be a genuine occupational requirement in accordance with paragraph 1 of Schedule 9 of the Equality Act 2010.**
**Why Join Us?** What will we do?**
We offer Wagestream - a money management app that gives you access to a percentage of your pay as you earn it, access to coaching, vouchers, discounts, cashback and more.
We provide a package of benefits that make it that bit easier to be your best and we can also support you to achieve a Level 2 diploma in Health and Social Care and pursue a career that takes on more responsibility.
**What will you do?**
Supporting people is really important but it’s not all day trips and walks. We also support people to take medication, assist with personal care, make healthy lifestyle choices and maintain their home in a way that they feel safe, well and happy.
We’re committed to being Disability Confident and we guarantee to interview all applicants with a disability who meet the minimum criteria for the vacancy.
