As one of our interns, you will gain a comprehensive introduction to our business. You’ll be assigned to a team?to support?real-life projects that bring our products and services to life?and are ready to?launch?to our learners. On-the-job training and professionaldevelopment will be provided to enable you to contribute to the business. You’ll also have direct access to a senior member of the team, as each intern will be mentored to help you make the most of the 10-week program.?During your internship, you will gainvaluable hands-on experience to build your resume to stand out with future employers.?

What Does the Internship Program Offer?

You will be paid for the duration of your internship at a salary from £23K pro rata.

You will be eligible for benefits during this time like any other employee, such as discounts on learning resources, some well-known high street brands and of course some pro-rata holidays.

**Job Description**:
As a Mentor Operations Analyst, you will support the mentor recruitment and onboarding operations for the courses within Workforce Skills portfolio and projects while collaborating with cross functional teams. You will gain exposure to working with a widespectrum of teams while assisting day to day tasks, and also learn about tools ?that enable Pearson to deliver products or services that execute on our strategy.?

What does the 10 weeks involve?

Interns will develop a broad knowledge of programme delivery, mentor recruitment and onboarding process within Workforce Skills. There will also be an opportunity to work with a wide range of business stakeholders across the globe and with a diverse teamof project and delivery managers across a wide portfolio of projects.

Minimum Requirements
- We are looking for a range of students including those from non-traditional backgrounds pursuing a Business and Management or Human Resources Management or have an interest in HR.
- Previous experience in HR will be an asset
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Experience of agile way of working advantageous
- Should be a ‘people person’, well-rounded and happy to take on new challenges.
- Demonstrated ability to function in a team setting, including contributing to a positive team environment
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office and collaboration tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams) or equivalent??
- Able to get to the designated Pearson worksite/office for this particular role. The role is hybrid which is generally 80% or so remote, working from home with the requirement to go into a Pearson office () as and when required.
- We are looking for students in the penultimate year of their degree.
