This role will be focussed on ensuring that our people continue to develop, progress their careers and deliver client value. The role holder will create visible and compelling career paths for our people, identifying the capabilities required to grow ourbusiness. They will work with our executive team, senior leadership teams and our wider leadership community to activate our leadership at dentsu framework and ensure that they are creating the environment for their teams to be successful. They will also ensurethat new joiners to dentsu quickly integrate into our business and accelerate their performance.

**Key Accountabilities**:
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Ensure our talent ambitions and principles are brought to life through practical, business relevant interventions
- Lead all succession and talent planning activity across UK&I - scaling talent identification, and ensuring critical and high potential talent have defined career paths and individual development plans
- People Managers - focus on developing people manager capability across all levels but our middle-managers at level 40, 45 & 50 - ensure mandatory training is in place to support this level of people manager
- Leadership - responsible for embedding leadership at dentsu and ensuring our leaders are role modelling the right behaviours and practicing enterprise leadership
- Mentoring - lead part in developing our Mentoring programme for UK&I business
- Identify employee learning needs and develops plans to address them
- Where relevant, select and partner with external training and coaching providers
- Activate and deliver employee career and capability development, aligned to our career framework
- Develop and promote career pathways and drive internal mobility across the organisation
- Deliver a robust onboarding experience for new joiners to dentsu
- Ensure that leaders are well positioned to drive talent management and retention
- Manage the Performance Development and Talent processes

**Person Specification**
- Solid understanding of talent management and people development principles and approaches
- Experience of working in complex, global organisations
- Comfortable and credible in collaborating with a wide range of stakeholders across all levels within the business
- Strong project management experience and proven ability to manage multiple deliverables within tight timeframes and to a consistently high quality
- A bias for data-driven decision making, with experience in using insights to inform priorities and measure success
- Experience working across wider HR disciplines, with an ability to identify dependencies and drive connectivity
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral)
- Strong problem analysis and resolution skills, with a clear bias for action
