Activities Co-ordinator

**Job Overview**
As an Activities Director in our care home, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating recreational activities and events for our residents to promote their well-being and social engagement.
**Duties**:
- Develop and implement a diverse range of activities suitable for residents in a residential setting, dementia care.
- Organize outings, social gatherings, and in-house events to enhance residents' quality of life.
- Collaborate with staff to ensure activities meet the physical, emotional, and cognitive needs of residents.
- Maintain records of activity participation and feedback to assess effectiveness.
**Experience**:
- Previous experience in a similar role within a care home or senior living environment is desirable.
- Strong communication skills to engage with residents, families, and staff effectively.
- Understanding of the unique needs and challenges faced by individuals in assisted living and dementia care.
- Ability to create a caring and supportive environment through engaging activities.
**Job Type**: Part-time
Pay: £11.44 per hour
Expected hours: 18 per week
