Learning Support Assistant

Now Education are delighted to be working in partnership with an FE College on the Wirral.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Provide one-on-one and small group support to students with a range of SEND, including but not limited to autism, dyslexia, ADHD, and physical disabilities.
- Assist students in accessing the curriculum by adapting materials, providing clarification, and facilitating understanding.
- Support students with organizational skills, time management, and study techniques to enhance their learning experience.
- Collaborate with teaching staff and other professionals to develop and implement personalized learning plans for students.
- Foster a nurturing and inclusive environment where students feel valued, respected, and empowered to succeed.
- Monitor student progress and communicate effectively with relevant stakeholders, including parents/guardians and external agencies.
**Qualifications and Experience**:
- Previous experience working or volunteering with individuals with SEND.
- Relevant qualifications.
- A compassionate and patient demeanor with a genuine passion for supporting others.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish positive relationships.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively in a dynamic environment.
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the diverse needs of students.
- A commitment to promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion in all aspects of the role.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Temporary contract, Fixed term contract, Temp to perm
**Salary**: £11.68 per hour
Expected hours: 25 - 30 per week
