**Exam Invigilator**

**Salary Details**: £15.63 for the first hour of each day required and £10.42 per hour for subsequent hours

Hours are likely to be around 3 hours / week during term time

**Details**

Clarkson Evans has trained hundreds of electrical apprentices since establishing our first in-house training centre in 1998. As a Top 100 Apprentice Employer, we’re proud to offer one of the most successful apprenticeship programmes in the country.

All exams are held at our Exeter training centre based at Sowton Industrial Estate.

**Responsibilities**
- To assist with setting up examination rooms by laying out stationery, equipment and examination papers in accordance with the outlined procedures
- To invigilate during examinations, handle queries and manage examination irregularities in accordance with strict procedures
- To monitor attendance during examinations
- To record details of early leavers and collect their scripts
- To collate and collect scripts at the end of the examination in accordance with strict procedures
- To check the examination papers, stationery and equipment prior to the start of the examinations
- To prepare the seating plans

**Required Experience**

Experience of working or studying in a further education environment

**Required Skills and Attributes**

- Good numeracy skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Good IT skills
- Good accuracy and attention to detail

Competencies:

- Flexible approach to working
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
