**Location**: Crownhill/ remote working available (must be able to travel into office as/when required). UK travel will also be required.

**Working Hours**: Monday to Friday 8:30 am - 5:30 pm.

Due to the continued success and growth of Snap Finance, we now need additional support and are on the hunt for a great **Head of** **Compliance **to join our team.

**The role and responsibilities include**:

- Own, improve and expand our compliance framework and monitoring programme - ensuring an effective and efficient approach to maintaining compliance.
- Design and conduct ad hoc compliance audits to ensure that internal processes & policies are applied and identify control gaps and processes' improvement opportunities.
- Oversee the preparation and provision of timely, concise, and relevant compliance-related management information, as required by the Senior Management Team and Board.
- Ensure the timely and accurate submission of regulatory filings and other documents to regulators.
- Enhance and maintain the firm's money laundering risk profile, considering the firm's customer, product and activity base, distribution channels, complexity and volume of transactions, processes and systems and operating environment.
- Review Compliance-owned policies, and procedures to ensure ongoing maintenance of these considering business and regulatory change.
- Working with the Senior Regulatory Compliance Manager, identify and advise on upcoming new regulations or regulatory changes applicable to the business.
- Monitor internal and external business, regulatory and technology environments to identify new or emerging compliance risks and verify remediation of issues as applicable.
- Manage customer remediation projects.
- Develop and maintain a relationship of trust with all regulators, with proactive, transparent, and timely engagement.
- Act as a day-to-day contact for regulatory compliance matters for relevant areas within the business.

**To be successful in the role as a Head of Compliance we require the following skills and experience**:

- Extensive experience in compliance with FCA regulated firms, with associated knowledge of FCA rules and regulatory environment
- Previous experience in co-ordinating and filing regulatory reports
- Thorough understanding of compliance monitoring systems
- Experience and understanding of anti-money laundering and know-your-customer best practices within UK regulation.

**Salary**: £80,000.00-£100,000.00 per year
