Credit Controller

**Credit Controller | Rushden, Northants | Full Time | 9am to 5:30pm | £24,000 to £28,000 (including annual bonus)**

in this role, you will be responsible for managing the credit control function, assisting with various Microsoft Excel based reporting/analysis and providing cover for the Accounts Assistant.

This is a permanent position and would suit someone who is proactive, confident and has very good Microsoft Excel skills.

**Are you the right person for us?**
- At least 2 years of experience as a Credit Controller in a business-to-business sales environment
- Experience in SAP would be an advantage
- AAT part qualification or equivalent
- Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office (including Excel, Outlook, and Word)
- Excellent written and oral communication skills at all levels
- The ability to successfully manage own workload and work both independently and as part of a team
- Methodical, organised and accurate the with ability to adhere to strict deadlines

**What will your role as a Credit Controller look like?**
- Manage approx. 200 B2B debtor accounts
- Direct debit processing
- Allocating payments and resolving queries
- Providing monthly statements, direct debit notices and copy invoices to customers
- Credit Limit review for existing and new customers, and obtaining relevant credit insurance
- Reporting - monthly and quarterly Aged Debt and Credit Limit reporting
- To perform credit checks for existing and new customers
- Review and release orders over credit limit in accordance with company policy
- Attend credit circle meetings and produce a summary report of discussions at the meeting
- Maintain customer master file
- Other ad hoc analysis as required
