People Co-ordinator

We are looking for a People Professional to join our busy team providing support to circa 250 employees on a **fixed term basis**.
You will work alongside the People Manager and People Administrator in helping to create an environment which enables our people to thrive. You will do this by supporting and taking shared responsibility of the employment lifecycle and providing an excellent service to our internal and external stakeholders.
This is a great opportunity for a People Assistant who is looking to take a step in your HR career and want to gain experience and exposure working in a varied role.
- **You will**:_
- Act as first line support for employee and manager queries providing advice and guidance on a range of People policies and procedures.
- Managing, alongside the People Manager, employee relations case work.
Support the People Manager with any ad-hoc requests
- Managing the absence management process within the Group.
- Supporting with the integration and aligning of People process and practices between the Group and a recently acquired company.
- Understand key people issues and identify ways in which to address such concerns.
- Support and encourage the development of strong relationships throughout the Group
- **You will have**:_
- CIPD Level 3 in People Practice
- Generalist experience working within a busy People team
- The ability to manage own workload and have strong time management skills
- An approachable nature with great interpersonal skills and a strong communicator across the board
- Experience of delivering exceptional customer service, providing first line advice and guidance to our employees and management team, actively seeking solutions to support at first point of contact
- Good understanding of HR processes/best practices and relevant legislation
- Experience managing stakeholder relationships
