**Herdson Interiors**; with over 35+ years’ experience in Interior Design. We have been leading the way in helping exceptional house builders, independent property developers, heritage conversion developers and buy to rent landlords, to sell their properties through superior design and installation of show homes and marketing Suites.

We are actively looking for a Junior or Graduate Interior Designer to join our team based in St. Neots; we are looking for someone who is passionate in interior design with the desire to work on exciting projects. You’ll work closely with our Design Director to assist in the design and execution of various projects.

**Duties include**:

- Planning scheme designs for show homes, private clients, marketing suites, heritage properties.
- Conduct field measurements and site visits
- Create PowerPoint presentation & assist in client presentations.
- Handling, coordinating, and communicating with clients and doing presentations
- Prepare materials and finish boards
- Participate in client meetings and representations
- Sort and distribute communications in a timely manner.
- Stay current on design trends and materials
- Researching, studying, and implementing various styles of furniture designs
- Creating of working drawings and furniture specifications
- Material and colour selection
- Outsourcing of fabrics, granites, and other materials
- Liaise and meet with Sales representatives of all the fabric houses we use
- Order samples and prepare presentation boards
- Site installations

**Qualifications**:

- Preferrable but not essential: one-year experience in a similar role.
- Proficiency in Sketch up or similar is a plus
- Interior Design Degree level education or equivalent.
- Requires excellent computer skills including Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Must have knowledge of design trends and styles
- Must have colour basic knowledge.

- Must possess strong problem-solving skills
- Must be creative and attentive to detail.
- Must have understanding of spatial balance.
- Must have the willingness and flexibility to be out of the office.
- Budgeting skills
- Time management skills
- Reliable
- Ability to manage and organise multiple tasks and work as part of a team.
- Resourceful - able to get things done
- Driver’s Licence is a plus

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £18,000 to £23,000 per annum
