Town and Country Care (Whitby) Ltd are looking for a Care Assistant to join our team. The shifts available would suit either a full-time or a part-time worker, with overtime shifts also available if more hours are required. The role will involve supporting clients in the community as part of our domiciliary care team.

The domiciliary role is based in Whitby, North Yorkshire and involves visiting elderly and vulnerable clients in their own homes. We operate in small teams and each team has access to a company vehicle for long distance visits. The shift pattern involves working every-other weekend, weekday shifts can be negotiated.

Shift times:
Morning runs are 7:30am until 11:00am

Lunch runs are 11:30am until 2:30pm

Evening runs are 4pm until 10pm

No experience is required, just a friendly and kind nature with a good worth ethic.

Duties include:

- Personal Care
- Medication Assistance
- Meal Preparation
- Household Tasks
- Social Support

Job incentives:

- Higher rates of pay for NVQ trained staff
- Overtime premium for covering holidays and absence.
- Set minimum hours per shift to compensate for cancellations, hospitalisations or gaps.
- Set fortnightly rota
- 2 monthly £25 attendance bonus for 100% attendance
- Monthly £10 data payments for mobile phone usage

- 50p per mile to cover fuel use and wear and tear
- All training provided, including care certificate and NVQ opportunities
- Free uniform and PPE plus all training and shadowing work is paid at normal rate.

Basic rates starting at £12.40 per hour.

These rates are then increased for NVQ trained staff, for overtime and increased for each years service.

We do not hold a Sponsorship license so are unable to accept Sponsorship applicants.
