An opportunity to join a top producer of show horses for over 20 years who has won some of the biggest accolades in the sport. Working for a highly regarded rider, trainer and competitor who offer a wide range of services, from beginners riding lessons to elite showing production. The new apprentice will join a friendly team and be involved in all aspects of horse care.

Duties to include but not limited to:

- Turning in and out of horses
- Morning muck outs
- Grooming
- Field chores
- Yard chores
- Tack cleaning
- Clipping
- Exercising horses

**Desired skills and qualities**
- Hardworking
- Dedicated
- Driven

**Desired qualifications**
- GCSE grade C/4 or equivalent in Maths and English desired but not essential.
- Applicants must not already hold a level 2 or higher in Horse Care.

**Future prospects**
- On completion you will have all the skills required for a full time position in the equine industry.

**Training**
- Full training to be provided by the employer and KEITS at the place of employment.
- The applicant will be working towards and gain a Level 2 Equine Groom Apprenticeship
- The learner will be allocated an industry specific training consultant who will provide both remote and on site visits throughout the apprenticeship.

**Job Type**: Apprenticeship

**Salary**: £5.28 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
