Lifting Equipment Inspector

**About**
- Conduct thorough inspections of various types of lifting equipment including cranes, hoists, and rigging in accordance with LOLER & PUWER
- Identify and document equipment defects, malfunctions and safety concerns
- Provide recommendations for repairs, replacements or maintenance activities based on inspection findings
- Maintain accurate and detailed inspection reports for compliance purposes
- Collaborate to ensure timely resolution of identified issues
- Service, Repair & Inspect Lifting Equipment on customer sites & the companies workshop
- Complete necessary paperwork in line with the companies set procedures
- Adhering to Quality, Health, Safety and Environment regulations to ensure accurate and effective inspections
**Experience & Qualifications**
- Experience of carrying out Lifting Equipment inspections on items including Chains, Slings, Shackles, Manual/Powered Hoists, Lifting Beams, Runway Beams plus various other forms for Lifting & Handling Equipment
- LEEA Qualifications, or time served in relevant industry
- Good knowledge of inspection techniques applicable to Lifting Equipment
- A good understanding of the fundamentals of general engineering required
- Good understanding of method statement and risk assessments
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Strong attention to detail and excellent observational skills
- Organisation
- Commitment to workplace safety and compliance
**Salary**: £32,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
