This startup outsources finance business for startups in the UK and US. Providing financial services such as bookkeeping and finance assistance for a large range of clients from Michelin Star restaurants to large multi-site stores. In this role you’ll take the burden of finances away from our clients and will get them excited about getting their financial data into shape, so they can use it to make decisions about their business.

About the position
As a Finance Associate, you'll be preparing accounts to trial balance and preparing VAT returns for a broad range of small to medium sized businesses. The majority of your work will be carried out using Xero.
You’ll have the following responsibilities:
- Bank reconciliations
- Accounts payable/accounts receivable and other bookkeeping
- Assisting with system improvements and general ledger improvements
- Assist with regular financial reports to our clients (weekly, monthly and yearly)
- Engaging with other teams in the business to improve business performance
