**We are looking for a Class 1/HGV Driver to join our team**
At DFS we are looking for a Class 1/HGV Driver (Fixed Term) to join our growing Manufacturing team on a Fixed Term basis, working 44.0 Hours per Week.

As a Class 1/HGV Driver (Fixed Term) you will safely transport our furniture to our factories or Distribution Centres across the UK. On occassions you may need to support the warehouse teams with unloading and loading furniture on to the van. You will be responsible for the safety and security of the vehicle at all times and for the furniture you are transporting.

We’re looking for people who are passionate about doing a great job, ready to get stuck in and be part of a team. You don’t need to have previous furniture making or manufacturing experience, we’ll teach you everything you need to know - on the job, so you can earn while you learn.

**What you can bring to the role of a Class 1/HGV Driver**
- You must hold a HGV/Class 1 licence
- A minimum of two years Class 1 driving expereince
- No more than 6 points on your licence
- Hold a current valid DCPC card
- Have no DD, DR, DG or IN endorsements

We are looking for both experienced people and people that are wanting to learn a new skill. We love to invest in our colleagues and so providing the training needed is something we are happy to do.

**Contract Type**: Fixed Term

**Hours**:Full Time. 44 hours per week across both shifts below.

We operate our factories on two shifts. The early shift works Monday to Friday 6am to 2pm and the late shift works Monday to Thursday 2pm to 12.20am.

**Salary**: £36050.00 per annum, plus overtime and a night out allowance.
