**About the role**:
We’re looking for a Head of Communications and Marketing to lead and develop our dynamic communications and marketing function, to ensure we reach everyone affected by spinal cord injury.

On a day-to-day basis, you will line manage the Communications and Marketing Team and contract manage agencies aiming to grow our social media presence, and help reach more people affected by spinal cord injury. You’ll also lead on the development of our website, act as a brand guardian for the organisation, increase Back Up’s profile amongst key stakeholders.

It is a hugely rewarding opportunity to bring the fantastic impact of Back Up’s work to life - helping us raise more funds and support more people affected by spinal cord injury.

**About you**:
We’re looking for an experienced Head of Communications and Marketing to help us grow the number of people we support and our supporter base.

You’ll have experience in project managing communications and marketing activity and will have worked across a variety of marketing channels, using analytics to improve performance over time. The role will combine elements of both operational and strategic work, so it would suit a person who’s happy to work on a news story one day, while writing a board report the next.
